Hello, Thanks for sharing your query. Pain ,bruising and swelling are common after liposuction and usually peak between 2-4 days when the tumescent action wears off. You will see improvement in all symptoms over weeks. Consult your operating surgeon regarding pain medications.

Pain after liposuction (or any kind of surgery, for that matter) is normal. Pain and soreness can last for about a week, peaking at about 2-4 days after the procedure once the anesthesia wears off.
Just continue taking the prescribed pain medications that your reputable and board-certified plastic surgeon gave you. If it becomes unbearable, visit him for a follow-up checkup.

As with any plastic surgery, liposuction involves possible side effects. After surgery, scars, bruises and swelling may be visible. The swelling and lumps that appear after surgery probably will not go away completely until several months have passed. so it is normal to feel those symptoms.
