I'm 22 and have this birthmark in the middle of my forehead. I was wondering if there is any way to fade it. (Photo)

When I was young the birthmark was much more prominent and red. I was under the impression that it was a salmon patch birthmark but I thought those all disappeared within the first few years of life? It has faded quite a bit with time but seems to have hit a plateau. I wold like to know what my options are to fade it further.
