How common are allergies to Botox in the frown lines?

You  should not be worried. Botox is safe and rarely is a cause of allergic reactions. I have injected hundreds of people and never had one allergic reaction

Allergies to Botox are extremely uncommon.  In fact, I have never seen one personally.  I would not be concerned about an allergic reaction, but it is possible to have temporary swelling, bruising, or redness.

Botox allergy is quite rare however it happens. Consider Xeomine (Bocouture)  which is the purest form of neurotoxin. If someone has allergy to any agent it does not matter which area is injected. Also, remember that the risk for allergic reactions is a statistical risk that has nothing to do with any particular individual; it gives you only a general idea how often it occurs. Good luck!

thank you for for message.  allergies from botox is extremely rare, I have been injecting for about 15 years and I had no one had allergic reaction , 
the most common side effect is mild bruises ,temporary redness , rarely ptosis which depend on the skill of the injector.
I am sure you are going to be happy , all side effects are temporary and usually are rare and more rare in skilled hand 

Hi fiona2017,Are you prone to allergies? Even if you are, hypersensitivity to Botox is very rare. Allergan, the maker of Botox is very careful and specifies that it may happen, no matter how minute the possibility. Allergy to Botox is not common at all. I have not seen it in more than 15 years of usage . Botox in frown lines is safe and gives good result when done by experienced injector .
