I'm experiencing some pain in the donor area and I'm in day 7, the pain started yesterday when I gently rub some crusts which formed in my donor area. It didn't bleed or anything, but not I feel a little pain and some numb sensation I would like to ask how long I would expect the pain to last and if there is anything I can do to ease the pain if I don't want to take pain killer

Pain can be very subjective.  Everyone experience some form of pain after surgery.  If you are having issues contact your doctor.

The pain should resolve within 10 days post op. If it's not red & swollen, you should have not trouble. If symptoms persist, you will need to be examined.

Actually there may be a pain in some of HT patients that starts after removal of the bandage of donor site at second or first post operative day. Pain mainly related with micro trauma of harvesting thousands of folicular units from donor site will disappear in 10- 14 days.

What do you feel its normal: After Hair Transplant, the skin in the donor area is guetting recovered as the grafts were taken from there. Some people can have some pain for couple of days ( 7-10 days)
I advice my patients to apply anti-bacterial healing ointment on donor area.

The amount of pain depends on the pain tolerance but in general it goes away after a couple of days. If your pain continues, you need to see your doctor for a follow up appointment.

It is rare to have pain in the donor area after FUE so maybe if it stays for a few more days you should check it out with your doctor
