Can your head being wrapped incorrectly after an FUE hair transplant stretch cartilage in your ears?

I had FUE surgery in April 2018. My head was wrapped in a fashion that the tops of my ears protruded away from my head (instead of laying flat). The surgery was almost 10 weeks ago and they still noticeably stick out more than before. Outside of otoplasty, is there anything that I can do, and has anyone heard of this happening before?
