Thank you for your photograph and comment. Based on your profile you were unhappy with prominent forehead wrinkles, an area that Botox excels at treating. By temporarily preventing your forehead muscle from contracting, your skin will take on a smoother, fresher appearance, which may have given you these results. Hope that this helps.
It is possible to make you look more masculine with Botox. It may have to do with your brow position. If your natural brown position has a lateral arch then your face with look more feminine. When this arch is decreased with Botox to create a straighter brow your face wlll look less feminine and for male patients this tends to be more desired look. With female patients we do the opposite. When we have a female patient with a droopy or a flat brow then the goal is to lift the lateral brow to create an arch. Both of these looks can be achieved with strategic placement of Botox. When we inject botox in the brow lifters (lateral portion of frontalis muscle) it will relax that muscle and decrease the arch of the brow. When we inject the muscle that pulls the brow down with botox (orbicularis oculli) then we are able to lift the brow up. I hope that helps.
In all likelihood, the botox has relaxed your forehead and has lowered your eyebrows which can achieve a more masculine appearance. Higher eyebrows are more typical of a female aesthetic while lower brows are more common in males. Hope this helps.
I do not understand the question without more information. Why did you have Botox? What was treated?
Beyond treating frown and forehead lines, Botox can be used to shape the face. The male brow, for example, tends to be flatter in shape with less arch than the female brow. You can create a more masculine look by positioning and shaping the brow with Botox. Small differences can be meaningful and take Botox beyond being a simple wrinkle treatment.
