Certainly you can have Botox injections at age 47. The only concern you should have is if you have contraindications.
Age has nothing to do withreceiving Botox injections. You want to look as good as youcan no matter what age. The effect of Botox will last about 3-4 months. This should bedone in the hands of a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon or Dermatologist.
Thank you for yourquestion.Absolutely. To be sure what treatments are right for you and your desired goals, see twoor more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation tomake sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to havetreatment.I hope this helps.
Thank you for your question.Absolutley a 47 year old women can have botox! I recommend setting up a appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon for a consultation and treatment.Good luck!
I generally do not base guidelines for BOTOX injections on age, but rather on your need for Botox. With that said, most women in their mid to late 40s are good candidates for Botox treatments. Botox is most commonly used to smooth wrinkles on the forehead, in between your eyebrows and your crow's feet. If you have deep wrinkles or volume loss around your mid and lower face, then injectable fillers may be a better option for you. I recommend an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who has a lot of experience with non-surgical injectable procedures to make sure you get the best results possible.
There is no reason someone couldn't get Botox at your age unless there was a health condition precluding it. Hope that helps!
Thank you for your question. Usually age is not an issue when determining if someone is a candidate for Botox. Discuss all health issues with your injector prior to treatment. Good luck.
Absolutely, we perform these procedures on patients in their 40s,50s,60s with great results, unless there're contra-indications. For more info- you can view this link:
I routinely administer Botox to 47 year old patients, and have had it myself. Unless you have some form of neurological disorder that prohibits Botox administration, it is very safe, very effective, and produces a high degree of patient satisfaction. Many patients dislike the fact that Botox contains the terminology that labels it a "toxin", which is an accurate description. However, every medication that we use for therapeutic purposes such as Tylenol (Acetaminophen) has a therapeutic and a toxic dose. Botox is used in very small therapeutic doses and has a great track record for safety over decades.
Yes, you are definitely a candidate for Botox. Botox is an excellent option for decreasing wrinkles and smoothing areas of the face. Botox can be used in specific areas depending what you would like to treat ie. crows, forehead, frown lines, lip lines. Age has nothing to do with receiving Botox injections. You want to look as good as you can no matter what age. The effect of Botox will last about 3-4 months. The only concern you should have is if you have contraindications.
Thank you for your question. The dropping you describe (which is not noticeable in the photo) is not typical of a response 3 weeks after Botox injections or following Juvederm injections in the cheeks. If it persists, follow up with your injector. Good luck.
More than likely your eyebrow droop was from the location of your botox and improper layer as well. Medial brow ptosis or descent of the central brow can occur for several reasons: Botox placed too low within the frontalis muscle along the forehead including central forehead. The frontalis m...
Most of the patients will notice definitive results after botox injections and are usually very happy with botox-induced relaxation of facial features. As you know, botox is just a tool and you need to ensure that you are using an expert injector who has full understanding of facial anatomy....
