Question

Hi , i have strips on eylids and not sure if i myself have to take them out cut them or leave for the doc, i was so nervous before during and after surgery i didnt pay attention as i wanted home, does it look as though its healing ok ? Surgery was tue 27th , thank u fir ur time x

Steristrips are on placed on incisions for extra support after an upper blepharoplasty.  I would believe your surgeon would want you to keep them in place for up to a week.  I would not remove them at this time, but I would call your surgeons office and ask for verification.I hope this helps.

Removal of steri strips after blepharoplasty would most likely be done at your surgeon's office some time around a week after surgery.  Contact your surgeon for specific instructions and your appointment.

It is completely understandable to be nervous before any surgery.  Sometimes the post op informations can be overlooked of just forgotten due to nervousness.  Do not hesitate to contact your surgeons office, the sooner you do, the less nervous you will be. They might also have a Registered Nurse on staff that could provide you with the post op care needed.
