Is lagophthalmos after ptosis surgery (resulted with overcorrection) curable? Or are we condemned to that?

I had congenital ptosis surgery 2 months ago. Overcorrection settles down time by time. But! Lagophthalmos is the biggest problem. Maybe the reason is overcorrection that I still have? Will the eyelid fully close in 3-4 months? Or will it stay like that? What are the general result in these cases? Is it possible to have lagophthalmos even for several months post-op, then being healed? Or should I wait for another operation (if there's any way to correct it) ? Thank you in advance.
