Hi:Although porcelain fused to metal can block out the color of the tooth, it is not the best cosmetic option. Even with porcelain crowns expert labs can apply opaquers to competely block out any darkness from the tooth underneath. Best of luck!
If you are unhappy with the crowns, you should talk to your dentist about your cosmetic concerns. If the crowns are cemented with temporary cement, they can be taken off pretty easily and redone. Your dentist can make a temporary set of crowns to replicate the final desired look of the crowns....
