I have posted about this before. especially if you underwent general anesthesia (which is why i do my liposuciton under tumescent) this can take a few weeks to a few months to resolve. it is a rare but more common than you think body reaction to liposuction surgery. if it lasts more than a week or so, please see your primary physician. What you describe is not typical and may not be related to your procedure. The two most common reasons for genital symptoms after surgery are either vaginal yeast infections from taking antibiotics or irritation of the urethra if a urinary catheter was placed during the procedure.Neither one should cause vaginal bleeding. My recommendation is to let your plastic surgeon know and follow up with your primary care doctor or OB/GYN when it's convenient.Best of luck,Mats Hagstrom, M.D.

Some lumpiness is expected at this point in recovery. There's really no way to tell based on your pictures and the timeframe what your final results will be like.Expect improvements over the next few months. It is unusual to not treat the upper abdomen when treating the rest of the abdomen.Best of...
Thank you for asking about your liposuction.I personally find liposuction easier to do on people who are very over-weight.This is because the goal of liposuction on a heavy person is reducing bulk. The goal on a slim person is perfecting shape. So liposuction on a slim person takes precision,...
