Is it easier to lipo a thin person with muscle, or a thin person that is all flab?

Liposuction is performed on the fat that is between the skin in the deeper muscle. The condition of the muscle will have no effect on the procedure.

What matters the most with liposuction is the person per forming the procedure.  Liposuction is easiest on patients that have fat.  If there is less fat then small cannulas with contouring are needed.  I suggest only going to a specialist for treatment.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Interesting question!  It is not a straight forward answer.  It depends what your goals out of liposuction are.  For example, if your are looking for a Hi Def result, the person with more muscle mass will be easier to sculpt.  If it's simply taking fat out for say a flatter abdomen, each person is about the same, meaning that the amount of muscle does not change the ease or difficulty of removing the fat.  I find that fit patients tend to have easier recoveries, though.
