Lip injection 3 days ago. Bruising in the left upper lip with medial distortion (lump). Will these lumps resolve after bruising heals? Thank you!
Answer: #lipaugmentation Bruising is very common after lip filler injections. it can cause a significant amount of swelling and distortion. I would recommend you wait for at least 2 weeks before judging anything. if there is still some distortion present then you should seek advise from your doctor

Answer: Juvederm lip injections and lumps Lumps can diminish over time as bruising does. Time will tell whether the lump you notice will subside. If the lump persists and is not tender, gently rolling a Q-tip over it to apply pressure may flatten it. If that is not adequate, injecting a small amount of Hylenex will help to dissolve the excess. Stay in touch with your doctor.

Answer: Lip injection question Thank you for your question. Following lip injections it is common to have swelling and bruising. These should resolve within 2 weeks. If you see any bumps or asymmetries at that time contact your injector. Good luck.

Answer: Bruising and unevenness after lip injection is common Swelling and bruising are common side effects after lip injections, especially within the first 24 to 48 hours, and they will subside. Feeling a lump inside the lip is normal. The lip has been injected with foreign molecules, so the body’s natural response causes the area to swell and feel harder. The unevenness will slowly subside within 2 to 3 weeks as the body regulates itself around the molecules injected inside the lip. The rate at which people heal and recover varies, but if you're still concerned, contact your physician.
