Thank you for the good question. It is not safe to shop for medical products like fillers through the Internet. You will not know what you are receiving and could have a terrible outcome if you use such products. It is best to see an expert injector in person to receive the appropriate treatment. Good luck.
These cannot be real and if they are they are sold illegally. Never buy a medication or drug on the internet. You also need to have this injected by a highly trained individual. Juvederm doesn't come in 0.55 cc syringes. Best, Dr. Emer.
I appreciate your question. It is not advisable to purchase any drugs on amazon as you do not know what you are getting. These could be counterfeit and have health consequences if used. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery.best of luck!Dr Schwartz
Absolutely not. Alot of Amazon products are sourced overseas and have minimal controls over the authenticity or safety. I cannot discourage you enough from doing this. I would also be surprised if any reputable injector would treat you with such a product. It's just not worth the risk to you. I hope this information is helpful for you.Stephen Weber MD, FACSDenver Facial Plastic Surgeon
These drugs are regulated and there are sadly many fakes. There have been some terrible (and I mean terrible!) reactions to things that looked completely authentic but were not and caused horrible allergic reactions. There have even been deaths in some places. So be careful and don't try to save money and risk you LIFE! Good thing you asked!
Purchasing Juvéderm off of Amazon or other Internet sites is dangerous. You do not know exactly how the product has been stored, or if the product has been tampered with. Complications due to a reaction to the product or infection are simply not worth the risk. You should only buy Juvéderm from a licensed practicing physician who has obtained the product directly from allergan and who is appropriately trained to inject.
Thank you for your question. It is absolutely not ever slightly safe to purchase a prescription drug over amazon, or any other website for that matter.
Hello. It is never recommended to buy injectable filler products over the internet. You should always see a cosmetic dermatologist ,who directly purchases Juvederm from Allergan, ensuring that you are having a very safe product injected into your face.
Absolutely not! There are many counterfeit products of inferior quality being sold online. Bottom line... it's not worth the risk injecting a product you can't be sure of into your body. Only licensed physicians and pharmacies are able to purchase products like Juvederm. I would recommend purchasing a product such as Juvederm from a physician's office. I hope this was helpful.
I would not recommend you purchase a injectable medical product from any seller on Amazon. Companies do their best to provide safe, effective care including medications shipped directly from company authorized suppliers. Only physicians or licensed pharmacies are authorized to buy such products. Individuals are not. You should suspect something is seriously wrong.More importantly, what you need as an experienced, safe person to inject HA fillers. The product is important, but the injector's experience, their assessment, their skill, and their communication with you as a patient are much of what you pay for when you go to an expert.
I hope that there are no doctors out there injecting expired cosmetic products! Likely, you will require more Juvederm to be injected to see the results you are hoping to achieve. Make sure that your doctor is board certified and has comfortable injecting the areas you want improved....
Hi cookiedough4,It is very normal to still be swollen at this point. Give the product 2 weeks until you decide if you love it or hate it. One side may swell more than the other. I suggest following up with the injector in 2 weeks to do any touch ups, if necessary. Best of luck.
Thank you for your question. At this point, residual bruising should have subsided. I recommend scheduling a follow-up with your injector to determine the cause of the discoloration and treatments that might be used to address it.
