Are fat transfers to to face better than fillers long term?

Hello I am 27 years old and have not had anything done to my face. But I already know that I am going to have to get some things done soon due to volume loss. I am thinking long term. Are continued fat transfers to face over the years or continued fillers to the face a better option? My problem areas are under the eyes and smile lines and as I get older to the tops of my eyelids. I'm wondering which the body handles better over time and which has the least potential to cause complications. Any advice would be appreciated

Fat and fillers are really used in much different fashions, so it's tough to compare.  Fat is used all over the face to restore volume and improve skin (from the stem cells within the fat), and often looks much more natural because you can blend smoothly to different areas of the face.  And, it is permanent. Filler is good for the lips, a little in the nasolabial fold can help, but in other areas it can impart a "done" look if not performed conservatively.  You aren't going to get a global facial rejuvenation from filler with a couple syringes here and there.
