Hi, I would to improve my side profile. My lower third of the face and chin seems weak (pictures attached). On top of that, my nose seems proeminent Chin implant would be enough or Genioplasty is necessary ? Or fillers would be better (even if I prefer something permanent) and already tried filler I don't want my labiomental fold to be too deep On top of that, feel free if you would recommand any other surgery such as rhinoplasty or jaw surgery to improve my side profile? Thank you
Answer: Sliding Genioplasty or chin implant In your case, based on these few photos, it does not seem to make any difference whether sliding genioplasty or implants are used for augmentation. It looks that you need mild to moderate augmentation which can be successfully achieved with both techniques. Good luck.

Answer: Custom-designed implants Hi,I encourage you to take some time to reflect on your questions and objectives in more detail. It is crucial to have a clear and distinct vision of what you want to achieve in terms of your appearance. By understanding your personal aesthetic preferences and dislikes, we can work together to determine the best course of action. From the information you provided, I can offer some suggestions that I believe could be beneficial for you.The imbalance you perceive in your profile look may be related to the relationship between the maxilla, your gums, chin bone, and high gonial angles.I want to emphasize that I find your nose to be masculine and assertive, conveying confidence and presence. While some might think that rhinoplasty could enhance your profile, I do not believe it would be the best approach in your case.Instead, it seems that your jaw angles are higher than ideal, and there appears to be some asymmetry in the photos you shared.Regarding the chin, we need to carefully consider the size of your maxilla, which is notably prominent. This can create the illusion of a weaker chin. Before considering a chin implant or sliding genioplasty, it is crucial to determine the exact type of advancement that will best complement your overall look, both in forward and lateral projections. To simplify and clarify, without knowing your specific preferences, I would recommend considering custom-designed jaw and chin implants. These implants can help restore balance and symmetry to your profile and front views, addressing the perceived imbalance.

Answer: Would you recommend sliding genioplasty, chin implant, or rhinoplasty? The side profile photograph demonstrates an overly projecting nose, and an under projecting chin. The under projection of your chin make your nose look bigger than it really is. Consider placement of a chin implant to augment the chin forward for better facial balance and proportions. Placement of a chin implant can be performed under local anesthesia as an outpatient procedure. A sliding genioplasty is performed by an oral surgeon in a hospital setting under General anesthesia with an overnight stay at the hospital and is much more invasive. Sometimes the upper jaw and the lower jaw are performed when the teeth are significantly out of alignment. A closed rhinoplasty approach can accomplish decreasing the overall projection of your nose and shaving down the dorsal hump with refinement to the nasal tip and narrowing the bridge line with all the incisions placed on the inside of the nose. A rhinoplasty and a chin implant can be performed together under one anesthesia with one recovery.

Answer: Sliding genioplasty Greetings of the day Antoine! Thank you for sharing your pictures. From what I can understand you have a receded and short chin. However the lower lips also look everted out. If you could share a picture of what your bite looks like, it will help with formulating a treatment plan.Assuming your bite is normal, you will benefit from a sliding genioplasty which will advance and lengthen the chin. If the bite shows a retrusion of your entire lower jaw, you will better benefit from a lower jaw surgery
