Could my short chin be fixed with an implant or sliding genioplasty? (Photo)

A surgeon commented that my chin is short. Would someone kindly tell me if this could be fixed wih a chin implant or a slidng genioplsty only? I am unsure what he meant when he recomended a genioplasty and which of the two he meant
