I had 0.4ml of Juvederm injected into my lips yesterday. I've had this procedure 3 times before over 3 years and never had this issue. During the procedure the assistant was wiping copious amount of blood, and due to the bruising under and over the top of my lip I'm presuming this is a blood vessel that has been hit during. Is this something to be worried about?? What can I do to speed the recovery if this is common? I understand swelling is normal but the bruised in particular is not harmonic.
