Mole already removed/biopsied - deep pigmentation left. Best way to remove? IPL, BBL, or something else? (photo)

About 6 months or so ago I had a mole removed from my nose and biopsied. It was non cancerous thankfully, however I am left with what I believe the derm called a "deep pigmentation". The area is completely flat but it is very dark almost like the mole is still there, but it looks like a dark freckle or birth mark. I would really like to get this removed because it bothers me greatly however not sure what the best way to do so is.

Mole removal begins with a comprehensive examination and consultation to determine the likelihood of a mole being worrisome. Excisional and incisional biopsies are reserved for suspicious moles. But it’s good news that most moles are not problematic and are only cosmetic, thus leading to the option of scarless or non-surgical mole removal with lasers and RF and plasma. Our office specializes in non-surgical mole removal.

Hello, hope you are well. Thank you for your question and photo! That appears to be remaining intradermal nevus. In any case, it is a simple procedure to re-excise under local anesthesia. It will heal nicely. Light-based therapies (laser, IPL, BBL) will not be effective.
