I recently had laser lipo with skin removal. I'm experiencing some dents in my abdomen that look like fibrosis but isn't hard or painful. I'm wondering if it's uneven fat removal or just a botched lipo. How can I improve the appearance?
Answer: Dents after lipo You said you had recent Lipo. If it has been only a couple months since the procedure, you should see continued improvement over time. It takes a good year for the final results. You should also get lymphatic massage at least 10 sessions to improve results. Acoustic wave treatment are also helpful.

Answer: Agressive Morpheus can help smooth out lipo irregularities nicely. Morpheus is probably your best option. Be sure to get it done under local anesthesia with iv sedation so you can get a good results and it is painless. Don't try to get away with that worthless numbing cream only.

Answer: Post laser Lipo indentations Unfortunately, I don’t believe anyone should have laser liposuction done. But you already have. I would not rush and do anything at this point in time as it will not improve on the condition. You need to let everything heal over a period of at least one year and then see fat grafting can help out in smoothing the surface. I know you may feel desperate and very unhappy, but don’t rush into anything until you let your body heal. Too many people will try to take advantage of your desperate situation. Be patient. I hope this helps a good luck from Leonard Grossman, MD, organic Plastic Surgery NYC

Answer: Outch Your treatment was aggressive and done with poor technique. It’s left you with an uneven fat distribution, and very little fat left to work with. It’s going to be very difficult to improve your outcome in any significant way. Unfortunately, the ability to deliver a consistent liposuction results is more difficult than most people realize. The number of plastic surgeons to approach mastery of liposuction is in reality quite small, There’s always room to make some subtle improvements after poorly done liposuction but there’s also significant risk of making things much worse. I would be very cautious of providers to think it’s easy to improve your outcome. Before having more surgery, make sure providers can show you adequate before and after pictures of previous patients with similar problems. I’m sorry this happened to you. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
