I got silicone implants done in Miami in May 2021. I had notice they were a little off right away after I got them, the office just reassured me that the muscles were really tight & should settle. It's been almost 3 years now since I got them & this is what they look like. I spent $$$$ to feel more confident, my confidence is falling fast because of how they look. It makes me feel so self conscious cause you can alway see the indent, plus I'm a dancer so I always have my top off! What can I do?
Answer: Implants Yes, you have a double bubble, probably related to the size implant you chose. It is probably too large for your tissue. You can go back and have the pocket lifted internally. You may need mesh and may need to go down in size. You may also need a lift, based on your later photos. Going with a larger implant does not correct the need of a lift.

Answer: Double bubble Yes, you have a double bubble. The double bubble results from the fact that your old inframammary fold was below the concavity you see now. The way to correct this is to use a circumareola approach to release the old inframammary fold, place smaller implants and move the nipple-areola complex more medial since your breasts are pointing outward too far. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Double bubble Your photographs do reveal the appearance of your old from memory fold as a tight crease underneath your breast between your Rea and the new fold. This is often the result of an excessively large implant based upon based dimension, or perhaps in your case a version of constricted breast. There are two possible corrections. One is to downsize and do a lift which I doubt you will want. The other is a revision to release the tight crease from inside to allow the lower pole to expand. This works well, but could lead to sensation loss and lower portion of your breast. Good luck

Answer: Breast augmentation outcome To make an assessment on the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we generally need to see a complete set of proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before and after pictures, then contact your surgeon and ask them to forward the pictures they took. There are three variables to determine the outcome of breast augmentation surgery. The first is the patient’s candidacy for the procedure in the first place. Not everybody is an ideal candidate for breast, implant, augmentation, and variables, such as the position of the breast on the chest wall, and possible divergence need to be taken into consideration. Likewise individuals who have ptosis need to take this into consideration. The second variable is the choice of implants. The third variable is the placement of the implant in the correct anatomic location. Your implants look like they were correctly placed in the center of the breast. There is slight evidence of breast ptosis with a breast, beginning to hang off the implants. I suggest having a few in person, consultations with plastic surgeons in your community for follow up with your original provider. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
