I close the small incisions with a suture so my patients may shower the next morning. However, they can't take baths or swim where the incisions are submerged for a few weeks until the incisions are fully closed.
You can shower the next day after smart lipo or any other lipo procedure. Be careful not to use hot water or prolonged showers. Use quick showers with warm water instead. This well keep the blood vessels in the treated areas from swelling too much which would provoke additional swelling and discomfort afterwards.

Hi there. That's a good question. Routinely I advise my patients to begin showers the day after their procedure. A topical ointment is then applied judiciously to the wound 3-5 times per day. Shower...go for it and enjoy.
