Is my tip going to change 8 months post-op rhinoplasty? (photos)

Is your tip its final shape? The nasal tip and the area immediately above the tip called the supratip take easily a year before you see the final shape with average thickness skin. With thicker than average skin that time may be two years or more. This is not really swelling at this point which is merely fluid but a an accumulation of scar tissue, and the bulkiness of the old tip skin which has not yet completely shrunk down to its new size. Some surgeons at this point might give a shot of Cortizone to the tip and super tip area to speed up the process of resolution of scar issue and shrinkage of the skin . This Has to be done carefully since too much of it can cause a dent. Ask you a surgeon if he uses Cortizone injection to the area of the tip and supratip and at what point would he do that.
