How is it determined what size to reach with the nose because I don’t want it to be too small or remain too big?

I prefer to do some computer simulations for my patients to help give them a realistic idea of what I think can be done with their nose with rhinoplasty, especially after assessing skin thickness. That way, we can also make sure that the patient and I agree on the overall size, width, rotation, projection, etc. of the nose beforehand. Of course, actual results will vary, but the simulations are meant to be pretty close to reality. All the best,

The surgeon assessed the size of the nose as he it she progresses with the surgery, so you have to leave a lot to your faith in the surgeon. There is a bit of a tendency to be conservative with rhinoplasty. Pick out some pictures you like on the internet and show them to your surgeon

Rhinoplasty with thick skin: as you correctly said, the thickness of the skin plays a large part in the outcome of A rhinoplasty, particularly the tip. This is less of an issue in most men since the goal is not necessarily to obtain the thinnest, finest tip, but one which matches the more masculine features of the male face. Ultimately the assessment of the thickness of the skin of the tip and therefore the prediction of the outcome would be based on feeling that skin in person. However based on the appearance of your nose preoperatively it looks like the first edited picture would be a reasonable approximation.
