Does Accessory Nipple Removal Affect Breastfeeding?

Question

I will be having accessory nipples by the armpit removed but I would like to know if this can affect me breastfeeding my kids later on. Will I not be able to produce milk if I get these accessory nipples removed?

Great question, no accessory nipples are not actually functional nor are they connected to the mammary gland so dont worry

Like dogs and cats, all of us have multiple nipples when we are fetuses.  Fortunately, all but two magically disappear before we are born--most of the time.  Occasionally accessory nipples will be present, most commonly in the underarm or along the lower rib cage.  These accessory nipples are nonfunctional, so their removal will not compromise breastfeeding.
