Does Accessory Nipple Removal Affect Breastfeeding?

I will be having accessory nipples by the armpit removed but I would like to know if this can affect me breastfeeding my kids later on. Will I not be able to produce milk if I get these accessory nipples removed?

You would do very well with an areolar reduction. This will result in a scar around your entire areola, but should heal very well when done by a plastic surgeon who has experience with this. This will reduce the diameter or your areolas.

Accessory breast tissue and nipples are very common.  For many women (and men) they don't even realize that they have polythelia as the supernumerary nipple may look like a mole.  I would advise against any topical treatment and suggest you see a reputable plastic surgeon in your area....

There are lots of procedures that can improve the size and appearance of the nipple and the areola.  It would probably be easier to make the bigger nipple smaller than to make the smaller one bigger.  When you see a plastic surgeon who can examine you then perhaps he can be more...

Our breasts are not mirror images of each other, but certain nipple and areola asymmetries can be corrected or improved.   I would recommend seeing a plastic surgeon who does a lot of breast and nipple surgery to learn about the options and get advice.
