Treatment for chin dimpling ("pebble chin" or "orange peel") is Botox injected into the mentalis muscle. This typically gives great improvement to the appearance of the chin. Results take about 1 to 2 weeks. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
thats a simple problem to fix. you need a few units of botox every 2-3 months and that can eliminate the problems you're having. not sure where you're located but Im sure it won't be a problem finding someone in your area to help u with this issue
If your skin dimpling is from muscle activity with smiling or frowning, 10-20 units of Botox in your mentalis, chin muscle may be most satisfying. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph
Dysport or regulare botox will help alot in smoothing out chin dimples and is easy to undergo and lasts about 4-5 months.
Hi, Botox/dysport to the muscle in the chin (mentalis) is an effective treatment for chin dimpling. Make sure to see someone with experience treating this area for the best results.Mehdi Sina, MD
The simplest answer is usually the correct answer and applies here. The dimpling is due to underlying muscle activity and proper placement of a neuromodulator(Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin) from a qualified provider should be the easiest and best way to give you the results that you're looking for. This will have to be repeated every several(3-6) months.
The best treatment for chin dimples is botulinum toxin (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport). It is a very easy injection that cost about $100 and will last about 4 months.
Thank you for your question and pictures. I have had many patients come in complaining about this issue. I treat with just a few units of Botox injected into the area. The results have been great. I hope this helps! Regards. Dr. DiPasquale
