Thanks for your question and photo. If the bruising is from the injections it will go away with time. Applying arnica creams or gels will facilitate its removal quicker. Also, if it is very annoying to you, some lasers may be used to eradicate the bruising even quicker. Good Luck.
Hi Coco1227, I would be concerned with an occlusion. Is it tender? getting better or worse? Did the professional injecting you use a needle or a cannula? I would call the office you had the procedure done at immediately for a follow-up visit and make sure there wasn't a vessel occlusion.

If still present after 10 days the return to see your injecting MD. Sometimes an external laser treatment/s helps, I recommend asking about that option.
Unfortunately, anytime a needle is stuck into the skin, a bruise or broken blood vessel is possible. Usually, these go away in 1-2 weeks. It is possible to experience hemosiderin staining, where the bruise stains the skin. This can be permanent, although there are some treatments that will help. The good news is that staining is fairly rare and most bruises resolve just fine.Applying arnica cream to the area 4-6 times daily will help speed up the healing process.Best of luck to you.
