Not much difference after gynecomastia surgery. When will I see results? (photos)

I had gynecomastia surgery 37 days ago and my results are none to minimal I don’t actually see results so far I don’t have much or none soreness anymore I got the gland removed as well as Lypo is this normal will I see better result later ? Pictures of before and after

You are still early in your recovery,swelling can take many more weeks or months before resolving. Be sure to follow your surgeons post operative instructions. If at 6 months you are still not satisfied have a frank discussion with your surgeon. Good luck.

Several weeks after liposuction you still have significant swelling and your result is not final. Give it at least 6 months for result to stabilize. If you are not seeing much of difference in that time your should address that with your surgeon or seek a second opinion consultation. Good luck.

37 days is still early after liposuction. I can see some improvement in your post op photos. The final result will take at least 3 months post op and needs a good snug compression vest to make the healing even that fast. Follow with your surgeon. Good luck.

37 days after surgery is still very soon after surgery and there still could be swelling present.  It is best to have good communication with plastic surgeon who could advise if there is swelling present through a physical exam.

I counsel my patients that it can take several weeks to months (up to 6 or more) before the final results from a gynecomastia procedure are apparent. In the first 6 weeks postop, it’s imperative patients remain complaint with compression garment use and limited physical activity. While it’s difficult for me to accurately assess your results from photographs, alone, I would encourage you to share your questions and concerns with your Plastic Surgeon and and make sure to adhere to his or her recommendations for postoperative activity and care.

There seems to be some improvement and we know there is still swelling.  It can take up to 6 months to see your final result.  Be patient and reassess at that time.  Keep in touch with your surgeon.
