Can Accutane worsen male pattern baldness?

I suffer from male pattern baldness. I have cystic acne on my back (nothing very severe). My doctor prescribed me 20 mg accutane daily for 30 days. I am worried about the side effects (specially hair loss given that I already have a receding hairline). Can I avoid hair loss if I take a pill once or twice every week?
