How long does it take for my lips to heal from Accutane? And for the redness in my entire body to go away?

I'm a three sport athlete. Just finished 6 months of accutane. I held in there with all the side effects and am very pleased with the outcomes. I have a dance in three weeks and was wondering how long it takes for the side effect of dry, peeling lips to go away. Also, i have always been a very red person which has become even more frustrating because of accutane since it is now effecting my entire body (arms, legs, feet, hands, face, everywhere). How long until that side effect starts to fade?

The dryness and redness secondary to isotretinoin usually resolves in 1-2 weeks after stopping the treatment.  The redness from this medicine usually occurs just on the face and occasionally the arms and hands.  If you have a more diffuse skin rash which does not fade in a week or two I would suggest you see your dermatologist to have that assessed.  Best
