I'm currently on my 3rd week of Accutane and have rashes, should I stop taking the medication. (photo)

A common side effect of Accutane is dry skin and mucous membranes. The dryness can be so severe, especially in those who have a history of eczema, that it leads to rashes. The side effects can also be based on the dose of Accutane you are taking. I highly recommend you consult with your prescribing physician to have your rash evaluated and to discuss treatment options.
