I have got lip fillers before with juvederm, but this time my doctor is recommending Juvederm vollure bcuz it lasts longer. I plan on getting 1 syringe, but I was wondering if it can be used on other parts other than my lips? Last time I had fillers I got the lip look I wanted to achieve in half a syringe so the rest of my money & product was thrown away. This time can I use the rest of the syringe in areas like, for example..my chin, cheeks, under eyes, or non surgical nosejob?

Answer: Vollure Vollure can be used in other areas of the face, such as the nasolabial folds. It is best to consult with your injector regarding your specific needs prior to receiving your treatment so you both are on the same page. Always seek treatment from a qualified physician.

Answer: Vollure versus Juvederm Often a particular filler receives FDA-approval for 1 particular area, but is used in real life "off label" for other areas. In the case of Vollure, its approval is for naso-labial folds, not specifically for the lips- but neither is Juvederm. And yet, both Vollure and Juvederm may work equally well for lip filling. Reportedly, Vollure lasts longer so you may want to try it. On the other hand, if you were very satisfied with Juvederm, I would not change course. To answer your other question: any unused filler can be injected in other parts of the face, such as the cheeks and nasolabial folds, if needed. (I do not recommend using it under the eyes for dark circles.) As you can see, there's a lot of "gray" area here and therefore it's so very important that you speak with your injector to get a full understanding of why he/she has chosen Vollure, and what other facial regions he/she can use it for. Enjoy! Be well!
