1 week post op - extended tummy tuck, muscle repair and mini lipo

I had an extended tummy tuck, muscle repair and mini lipo with Dr. Farris. I was nervous about my belly button shape outcome but it looks amazing and the first week recovery wasn't too bad besides the constipation side effect to be the worst and most uncomfortable thing during the first week post op. Dr. Farris and his entire team are amazing! Its hard to find great customer service nowadays. Janie, Kelly, and the other ladies were very professional at all times and are always helpful from answering all of my questions and concerns, and checking up on me. From the Consultation with Dr. Farris to my surgery day, Dr. Farris has always been very straightforward and direct with me and shows that he cares about his patients. It is important to me to have a connection with my Doctor because of the horror stories I've heard of patients not meeting thier surgeon until the actual day of surgery and never to see them again.I have seen Dr. Farris at each of my doctor visits and he called me after surgery to make sure everything was healing and there were no arising issues nor concerns. I never have to wait long at any of my appointments no more than 10 mins which is very important to me and the staff Always show Great customer service. You can tell they are a close team and has been working together for a long period of time, communication is always on point, and not over booking appointments which is is also important to me.The only thing I wish I knew was that I needed to loose a little more weight to get the full muscle repair. I was weighed in the day of surgery and was informed I would only be able to get muscle repair on the lower part of my stomach to prevent a risk of cutting off my blood supply from my upper part of my body if he does a full muscle repair. Everyone's body is different and I've maintained my same weight for the past year. I am glad that he didn't just move forward if it was a high risk as maybe another surgeon would have since I was informed nothing was wrong with my weight. Overall, Dr. Farris did an amazing job so far that I can tell looking at my stomach. I cannot wait to to see my final results 6 months to a year from now, and I am happy with choosing him as my Surgeon.

Pre op - I will be getting a much need breast lift, tummy tuck and lipo!

Background information: 100pd weight loss from a duodenal switch. I will be getting a much need breast lift, tummy tuck and lipo! Dr. Farris and his team are unmatched. From my first contact through text/email with Janie I knew this would be a good team to work with. I made sure to see a few doctors and did tons of research befor deciding on Dr. Farris and his team. My original surgery date was in June but due to an illness I had to push it back to August. Janie was very responsive and helpful during my illness and recovery period rescheduling was not stressful. I honestly feel like Dr. Farris and team care because they couldve just let me do the surgery before my numbers were back to normal. At this point I am just counting down the days! 14 TO GO! So ready! Will update my progress along the way. I've found lots of helpful tips on here so I want to help others in my shoes! Updated on 15 Aug 2023: 2 hours away from my TT, lipo & breast lift. Can't believe the day is finally here. Its werid cause I'm just ready for this part to be over so I can get to recovery. Will update again as I progress. Before pic taken yesterday morning. Updated on 17 Aug 2023: I'm 2 days postop. Below is what the last 2 days have been like.... Surgery day: Dr. Farris and his WHOLE team are amazing! He truly cares and takes changing people's lifes serious. Waking up I had minimal pain and no drains! The doc give my S.O. good instructions for my immediate aftercare. Which was was drinking fluids, managing pain, getting up and no solid foods. Honestly the first day wasn't that bad pain wise. Note, I suggest taking a suv/truck over a sedan(just make sure it's not too high up) The suv was easy to get in and out of once home. 1st day Postop: I slept in a recliner having only to get up to use the restroom (downside of drinking lots of fluid). The pain in the morning was around a 5 so I only took Tylenol. My breast did start swelling that morning which just seem more of discomfort than pain. Went for a postop appointment at noon, which was fairly quick. Dr. Farris said things look to be healing good, cleared me to shower late the next day. He also answered additional questions we had. From the extra activity my pain level did increase to a 7. Note, things I've needed help with so far, sitting backdown in reclinder (its a lift chair so no help needed getting out), opening pill bottles, and food and drinks. Lastly, coughing and laughing are a b*tch! Lol Day 2 post op: My back hurts (as many people mentioned), still no bowel movement (I usually go at the sametime every morning) taking Milax and Stool Softer. Pain seems pretty manageable. I can tell that the swelling is starting in my TT area so that is adding to the discomfort. But I'm getting around fine. Worse part is getting back into my chair and in a comfy position. I kept my activity somewhat light beacaue I wanted to have enough enegry for the shower. These pictures are from today before my shower. Note, it's been difficult trying to keep the binder from riding up. Updated on 31 Aug 2023: The last 2 weeks have been good. I honestly haven't dealt with much pain. More discomfort when the swollen starts. The binder sucks cause he rides up. Sleeping in my recliner chair started to bother me so I switch to the bed with tons of pillows. Can't wait to get my tape off next Friday! Updated on 19 Sep 2023: Honestly the recovery has been amazingly good. Getting my tape off was a breeze. I've been able to stand up straight since week 3. And no serious pain (have my good & bad days). I traveled last week for work and I did have extreme swelling day 2 I was good by the time I got home. But I was hella fatigue so I slept all day Saturday and Sunday lol. I do recommend getting a good compression option while your skin is healing. I've been doing my Amazon compression with my binder and it's worked. My breast have finally not bothered me as much. Pictures are from today!

Very satisfied with my results - best experience form start to finish

From my consult to my aftercare, i have nothing but positive things to say about them. Dr Farris is knowledgeable and experienced, he made me feel very comfortable. I originally planned for my surgery to be in 2022 but had some unforeseen circumstances that didn't allow for that. The team was happy and willing to take me back when i was ready in 2023. The front desk is always available for help, and the pre and post op nurses were seriously soo sweet. I was so thankful for the office taking such good care of me through all stages of surgery; everything went great and I had very minimal pain in recovery with VERY minimal scarring. I am very satisfied with my results and would go to Dr Farris again 100x over.

TT and BA 108lbs 5'2 Ft - post-op day 2

I went with Dr Farris after consulting 2 other doctors. His price quote was reasonable. Staff was great and responsive to texts and calls. I am post op day 2. Waking up from anesthesia was painful. The breast felt full pressure otherwise pain-free. The TT was more pain because the OR was cold. I didn't even see the surgical site as I was wearing the binder and the bra on already. My mouth. Was so dry. I was shivering which pulled on my stitches which made the walking brutally painful. Getting in and out of the bed is the most painful as it pulls on your abs stitches. I kept my pain within manageable level by taking the oxycodone religiously.i would put the alarm on so I would wake up and get drink it. I must tell you to not skip a pain pill because if you do, you'll be miserable chasing the pain away. I bought my own surgical bra as suggested by another patient. Updated on 20 Dec 2022: Moving is a significantly better. Managing the pain with narcotics created a side effect: constipation- which I managed with coconut water, prune juice and colace. I stopped my narcotics at day 4. I bought a 4 piece wedge to sleep on which helped me be compliant of the no-trunk-extension orders by the doctors. On day 5 I developed a contact dermatitis which got worse despite the cortisone cream I used. I started doing self lymphatic drainage on day 6 as it felt very swollen in my belly and breasts. Updated on 20 Dec 2022: Had contact dermatitison day 5. Pain is better. Swelling is better too. I have been taking a shower every day since day 4. I did that initially with a chair inside so I don't have to worry about losing balance. I would suggest you do this for your first shower.

Seamless BA! 34B, 415cc, under the muscle, silicone gummy bear implants

So first let me say, a BA has been on my list since I was 17 years old. The fact that I have actually done it is AMAZING and I couldn’t be happier. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Farris and his team! Shoutout to Janie and Angela! So thorough from beginning to end! From the consult to the pre-op to the procedure! The recovery has been a bit more rough than expected but nothing unbearable! I’m already noticing very small changes with regards to dropping so I cannot wait to see them in 6-12 months! I was a 34b pre surgery and my current size is TBD. I went with 415cc, under the muscle and silicone gummy bear implants. My first post op is set for next week and I’m feeling better and better each day. I will say the only con currently is the “boobie blues.” It’s been extremely difficult not to help out around the house and hold my toddler! But rest is so necessary and minimal activity is critical in the first 2 weeks! Updated on 26 Jul 2022: So 2 weeks post op today! Loving the results and the subtle “dropping and fluffing”. My doctor indicated I am healing perfectly well with no issues. The only thing I’ve noticed is the extra tenderness to my breasts. It almost feels like sunburned skin, extremely sensitive to the touch and extreme nipple sensitivity. I’m hoping that subsides over the weeks and months but other than that, progressing very well! I have the green light to start light walking this week and scar serums at week 3. Updated on 3 Aug 2022: 3 weeks post and feeling good! My nipples are still extremely sensitive and my breasts overall are still very tender. But all in all, healing very well! I’m hoping within the coming months, the hypersensitivity calms down! Updated on 19 Oct 2023: They are completely dropped and very very soft! I can’t believe how natural they look and feel. Still the very best decision I have made on changing my body to date! I feel like some days I don’t even have implants!

One week post-op and already so happy with the results

Surgery is less than 6 weeks away. I have my appointment with my PCP on Monday 12/6 to have a check up and be sure I’m cleared for surgery. I successfully quit smoking a few weeks ago and I’m super proud of myself for that. I’ve been trying really hard to lose some weight before surgery as I know my results will be even better, but I do find it comforting knowing that even at my current weight, my doctor believes I’ll be happy with my results. I am 5’3” and last time I weighed myself (at my consult on 11/1), I was 163lbs. I am working really hard to get down to at least 150 by surgery day. I won’t know what I weigh until Monday when I go see my PCP. If I have not lost weight I’ll be very disappointed… Anyway, my plan is to review everything about my experience. I am having a full tummy tuck, lipo of the flanks and mons are included. I’m also having lipo of my back. I don’t want to have a flat front and lumpy back! I’ll also be having a breast lift with modest augmentation. I don’t want to have huge boobs, just nice and full and perky (I have never in my life has those so I am excited!)… I will update after my appointment with my PCP on Monday. I know it’s only 12/3/21, but surgery day (1/13/22) will be here so quickly… I’m already nervous… Updated on 21 Dec 2021: I cannot wait! I am so excited, anxious, nervous, and totally happy! My husband will be with me and gets to meet my doctor which is good. We will learn about my recovery and what to expect, so that should be interesting. I've also got a list of questions. I need to order my recliner for the first week of my recovery. I've read the ones that help you stand up are awesome to have! I'll also be borrowing Grandaddy's extra walker (he is 93 lol) to help me get around the first few days. I know I get my first set of under garments as part of my package but I'd like to buy some extras so I'll ask about that too.... I've been taking my own before pictures and I am both sad and happy. I've had this body for so long and it's all about to change in 3 weeks... I will be making my next entry exactly 3 weeks from today (the night before surgery) so I can let everyone know how nervous I am then! Lol. I will upload my before pictures then too. That way everyone can really see what I am sating goodbye to! I wonder if my doctor will take pictures in the OR for me afterwards. Some may think it is nasty but I'm so curious what it all looks like after he cuts all the skin off! I'll have to ask him tomorrow ... Until next time! Updated on 17 Jan 2022: So I’m sitting in my recliner writing this, feeling pretty good for the first time in a few days. Everyone was right… the first 3-4 days were definitely difficult but I managed to get through it with the pain meds, a lot of rest, and an amazing husband to assist me with everything. So far today I haven’t needed a pain pill but if I feel like I do at any point I will take one. I had a major operation so I have no shame taking the medication if I need it! I got to shower yesterday and really see myself for the first time since surgery day… I’ll post a bunch of before pictures and then the ones I took yesterday so everyone can see the difference. It’s pretty impressive and I’m extremely happy with the results even this soon into recovery. I can’t wait to see how the next several weeks go and I believe it will o my get better! I go Wednesday for my one week and hopefully get this annoying drain out! I drained a lot of fluid the first two days or so but my husband only had to empty it once yesterday and so far today there’s barely anything in it. Dr. Farris said if it’s under 30 for 24 hours he will take it out so fingers crossed! My back and stomach are extremely tense and tight, which makes sense. I had a bunch of lipo on my back and mid section and it has been by far the most painful part of all of this! My boobs have been sore, along with my stomach, but every where he did lipo has hurt bad the last few days. Thankfully today has been much better. I will update again after my appointment on Wednesday! Hopefully I can get this damn drain out! Updated on 22 Jan 2022: So I’m a week and a day out from surgery. I’ve been the my doctor twice now to check on things. He removed my drain after 6 days thankfully… I’m able to do everything on my own (minus the obvious like lifting heavy objects, etc.) so that’s good. My boobs look phenomenal! OMG I know they’re still swollen but I’ve never had perky boobs before so I’m totally in love! I made another collage of a couple of before pics and then what I look like with a sports bra and some pants. I have also never in my life a flat stomach so I almost cried when I saw myself in the pants! For the first time ever I didn’t have to pull them up over my love handles and to my belly button! I could just let them sit on my new waistline and that’s it! I am so happy with how things are coming along and can’t wait to see how things progress over the next week! I’ll keep everyone posted! Updated on 25 Jan 2022: Dr. Farris and his whole team are incredible! From the first consult to my first post op appointment they’ve been amazing! They answered every single question I had along the way. He never made me feel like any of my questions were dumb (even though I’m sure some of them were!), he just answered them with a smile. I’m one week and 2 days post op and I’m already so happy with the results and know it’s just going to keep getting better! I am so happy with the decision I made to go with Dr. Farris for my mommy makeover. He’s an artist and I never could’ve imagined my body could look the way it looks now. Can’t thank him and his entire team enough! Updated on 30 Jan 2022: Feeling really great actually… doctor said I need to be doing less than I am. My energy levels are back so in my mind I can go about my normal life but physically, I am far from doing any of that! I posted a collage to show from night before to 13 days post. I’ll be in touch in a few weeks to show you more pictures of progress! Updated on 14 Feb 2022: I’m finally able to wear spanx instead of that stupid Velcro wrap around binder they give you after surgery… I’ve noticed already in the last week since wear the compression garment I’m starting to see my waistline! I’m so happy! And to think, I’m still puffy and still healing… it’s only going to get better! I posted a before pic and pic from yesterday so you can see the huge difference… cannot even explain how good I’m feeling about the results so far! Updated on 16 Feb 2022: Side view… And FYI- blur out my thighs and butt because I share these pictures with my brothers lol… we are close but they don’t particularly want to see my in my panties lol… but if I’m being honest, now that I see how great my results are looking, I’m thinking mya e next year I’ll get some lipo on my thighs (the wonderful saddle bags) and have it put in my butt just to add a bit more shape! Maybe… we will see lol. Updated on 15 Jun 2022: Thought I’d jump on and post some updated pictures! I am still loving my results and it’s only getting better with time. My boobs have definitely settled and they are perfect! I am a DD/DDD depending on the bra, which wasn’t necessary my intention, but I’m still totally happy with them. I had 270ccs so they were modest implants. I just had more breast tissue than I thought so now they’re large but perky! They look extremely natural so I love them! My tummy continues to change with each month. I’ve always read that you see your true results at 6-12 months and now I understand why. I did a side by side picture of 3 months post and then 6 months post. You can absolutely see a difference in the way my stomach looks. I’m super happy with everything… my doctor loves the way everything turned out as well. Now I’m thinking about what I wanna do next lol. He advised me to wait a bit and then we can talk. That’s another reason I love him. He’s not rushing to take my money. I had a lot of surgery in January and he wants my body to heal and have time before we go back in! I think a BBL is next though! Hope everyone is doing well and my posts have helped some of you! ????

Beautiful Work

Dr. Farris is a very sweet man and does very nice work. My breasts are still healing but I can see that so far they look very nicely shaped and they are feeling more and more natural each day. I had a full anchor lift and augmentation after breast feeding four children. Dr, Farris also has the nicest staff I have come in contact with in a while which is very refreshing.

The Doctor You Want on Your Team! Miracle Worker!!

I did tons of research before choosing the Amazing, one and only Dr. Zachary Farris. Multiple consults were scheduled, within a 3 month timeframe, before making my final decision to book with Dr. Farris. He is my Miracle Worker!!! Like most weight loss patients, I had extra skin that began to cause medical issues. No amount of exercise was going to “fix” the elasticity of my skin that I was left with. I’m also a mother to 5 beautiful children who were nursed by yours truly. You can imagine what the “girl’s” looked like after all of those feedings. My mommy makeover (abdominoplasty, breast lift & liposuction) has completely rocked my world. The confidence I now have would never have been achievable without Dr. Farris and his professional team! Dr. Farris has the best bedside manner. I never felt uncomfortable. Dr. Farris listened to me address my concerns and unlike most of the other doctors I consulted, I didn’t get the vibe that he was in it for the $$$. He genuinely cares about his patients. If and when I decide to have any other procedures, Dr. Farris will be my “go to” doctor. Thank you again for everything!! You ROCK!!!

BBL: Miracle worker!

Miracle worker! Dr.Farris is sooo knowledgeable and has hands of magic. During my consultation he listened to exactly what I was asking for and expecting, he explained everything to me in detail and the reality of the surgery. After everything was explained to me, I felt very confident with going through with the surgery. So thanks to my sweet hubby, we booked it immediately! Then came the day of surgery, I was sooo nervous, but that quickly went away after I was greeted by Dr. Farris and his staff( including his nurses and anesthesiologist). Let me tell you all when I woke up from surgery, I was amazed! I woke up to a new shape and I loved it! Dr.Farris gave me the confidence I lacked! Hands down he is an amazing doctor and cannot thank him enough.
