Hi there! A revision rhinoplasty can certainly help to improve symmetry. With smiling, much of the movement is inherent to the musculature nearby. By using cartilage grafts, a structure-approach can be integrated thus providing a sound, firm nose. The nasal tip can also be narrowed if desired at the same time. I prefer to do tip work in an open fashion in order to make precise moves with my sutures and grafts. If you're comfortable with your first surgeon, I would recommend discussing the changes you'd like to see. Hope that helps!
