Nasal tip still uneven over a year after surgery. What can I do? (Photo)

I had a rhinoplasty focused primarily on my nasal tip. In the beginning it looks great but as it’s healed I really don’t like the way it looks. In pictures it often looks flat and as if there’s a line in the middle. When I run my finger down it feels like the tip is still really hard and swollen. One side is definitely still more swollen too. It’s been over a year since I got it may 2021. I don’t know what to do

Thank you for your question and for providing photos. After nearly a year and a half post-op, it is unlikely that you’re still experiencing residual swelling. It is possible that you’re a candidate for revision rhinoplasty to address the nasal tip and nostril symmetry.  
During this procedure, the tip can be addressed and the nose reshaped to bring it into balance with the rest of your facial features. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon. They will be able to assess your concerns and conduct a more in-depth analysis to help you reach your cosmetic goals.

Hi there! If it's been close to a year, a significant part of the swelling should be down, though improvements can still be made. For swelling, I employ steroid injections, compressions, and taping at night. If your surgeon feels adequate time has elapsed, it may be time for a discussion regarding a revision. For complex tip work, I recommend an open approach. This allows for great precision with the tip which can't be achieved with a closed approach. There are options and much of it would involve placing strong, cartilage in the form of grafts to help keep the nasal shape. Hope this helps!
