Will my results improve over time? So disappointed in the results so far - not much of a change. I keep reading that it can take 3 months to six months to see the full results of Bellafill.

Answer: Bellafill Results Thank you for your question. It is much too early to evaluate the results of Bellafill at 6 weeks. At this point in time, the collagen that the PMMA particles are suspended in for injection has been broken down and absorbed by your body. The collagen stimulation is just beginning and will take a minimum of 3 months to evaluate your response to the Bellafill and up to 6 months or more to fully evaluate your response. That being said, I typically do not use Bellafill in this location as I have seen it migrate down into the lips on occasion in patients who have had it injected by other injectors. I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore

Answer: Bellafill for the Lips Congratulations on your choice of filler. Bellafill is a filler that will stimulate you to make your own tissue so that you will not have to constantly come back for more injections like most of the other fillers. The concern with Bellafill is that it is a long-term filler so the fact that you do not see much in the way of results is a good thing. What it means is that the provider who injected your lips was conservative. It is much better to go back for some more rather than having to go back to have it taken out. I frequently add a little more Bellafill in a few months after lip injections in order to get the optimal result. Again, the gas tank does not go down with Bellafill but you likely did not get enough to get the results that you are looking for. I have added a video about filler safety for you. I hope that helps. Best regards.
