I have been having bellafill injections done on my nose to fix the diamond shape I was left with from my nose job. The last injection she put in was 2 months ago and the end of my nose is crooked and the side by the bridge protrudes out on one side. If she puts more underneath on the end of my nose on the other side my nostrils are uneven then (she just tried 2 weeks ago with a temporary first this time). She tried putting more underneath the bulge on the side and my nose is getting wider!

Answer: Give it some time! Hi, Thanks for the question and sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. While there are couple of ways available to help, I would give a bit time before any further manipulation. Often these will get better within the first couple of months. Please keep us posted and best of luck...

Answer: Bellafill for the Nose I am sorry that you are having this problem. The first piece of advice I would give you is to be very, very patient with this problem. Bellafill is a biphasic medical device that in the beginning is mostly bovine collagen that can make scar and lumps. The good news is that these almost always go away at 3 to 6 months as Bellafill converts to your own tissue or the second phase of Bellafill. There is almost no room for error with Bellafill and its correction in the nose. While one could try to disguise the lump by feathering Bellafill around it or try to decrease the size with an injection of steroid, these alternatives could cause other problems so it is best to wait to see what happens. After a couple of months, if the problem is not resolving on its own, I would seek out a surgeon who has extensive experience with Bellafill and understands its nuances. I hope that helps. Best regards.
