Is back pain common after a tummy tuck with liposuction? How can I reduce/eliminate that non-stop pain?

Carey M
I realized there would be stomach pain with a tummy tuck but why am I experiencing such bad back pain? I was given Valium to help for "muscle spasms" and that doesn't seem to do anything. I have stopped taking Percocet since I am at the 2 + week mark so Ibuprofen was suggested and that does nothing. I only receive temporary relief from bending over in the shower and allowing the hot shower water to "massage" the back area. I am still wearing the surgical binder.
