Thank you for providing images, getting that angle can be extremely tough! While some crusting is to be expected where the sutures are, most rhinoplasty surgeons like to use dissolving stitches where you have those crusts and they can certainly react differently in different patients.  Things that you need to look for in infection are swelling (it will be evident both inside and outside of your nose), discharge, as well as tenderness.  The most important part of the story that you mentioned is "picking at the stiches".  You have to be very careful! Make sure to contact your surgeon and ask their preferred method of wound care for their intranasal incisions.  This is probably the most important thing to do at this point, as we certainly would want you to get back on the right track for healing and a quick recovery. 

When you are early after surgery it is not appropriate for you to ask for online advice rather than contacting your surgeon. Please call them to be seen so an appropriate elavuation can be made and they can advise you on what is best.
