Teeth and lips are at a diagonal. Can’t achieve perfect symmetry but would like some opinions. Thinking to get composite bonding on teeth to even them out, but lips still crooked when not smiling. Will injections alone fix or do I need a lip lift?
Answer: Lip lift A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. You would be a good candidate for a lip lift. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Lip lift Based on your pictures, it looks like you would benefit from a 3D lip lift (the best version of a lip lift in term of scarring, outcome and longevity) and a medialized corner lip lift (which is the only procedure that can elevate the corners of the mouth and is as important as a lip lift) to fix the asymmetry. Best of luck !

Answer: Lip asymmetry and Canted smile/canted lips. If you are interested in making your lips appear more even, there are several options available. Lip augmentation is a cosmetic procedure that involves injecting a filler substance into your lips to enhance their shape and volume. The most common fillers used are hyaluronic acid and polyacrylamide, which are considered to be safe and long-lasting. Lip augmentation can help even out uneven lips by adding more volume to the thinner side or reducing the volume of the fuller side. However, this procedure is not permanent and may need to be repeated every 6 months or so. The lip lift is a surgical procedure that involves removing a small strip of skin from under your nose and lifting your upper lip to create a more defined and symmetrical shape. This can help correct any drooping or sagging of your upper lip that may contribute to the asymmetry. Lip lift surgery can also make your upper teeth more visible when you smile, which may improve your overall facial harmony. These are some of the common ways to fix lip asymmetry. You should also be aware of the possible risks, side effects, costs, and results of each treatment.I hope this information was helpful and informative for you.

Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
