I’m 30 and finished having kids about a year ago. I’m 5’1” 130lbs. I’m still getting in shape but it’s more of a lifetime plan. At what point should I get a breast lift if my body is still changing?

Answer: Breast lift timing The best time to consider a breast lift is when you have finished having children, have stopped breastfeeding for 6 or months, and you are at your goal weight and stable there. You can opt to have your breast lift now even if you are losing weight, but your results can be impacted by weight fluctuations in the future.

Answer: Get your lift any time after 6 months from completion of breast feeding and close to stable goal weight I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author.
