Almost all the Bellesoma results I've seen are absolutely beautiful. But when something does go wrong, what causes it and can it be prevented by patient or doctor? For example, I've seen a few where the bottom horizontal scar is not completely underneath the breast but instead too high up on the underside of the breast. I really want to have one of these but only if I know what causes the rare bad result and what I can do about it, if anything. Thank you!
Answer: Breast lift Dear JWmommy, my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Lift This lift is more limited in the shape that can be created because of limiting where and how the excess skin is removed.

Answer: Continuous evolution of The Bellesoma Method I am Gary Horndeskim M.D., the inventor of The Bellesoma Method. This technique continues to undergo surgical evolution with the goal of improving the results. The inferior incision is designed to lie as close as possible to the new inframammary fold. In some cases, the incision is higher than the fold but after 6 months can be revised to conceal it better. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast lift Whenever a new procedure is introduced there are two issues. The learning curve of not having experience with the oricedure and the unanticipated pitfalls. I’ve never done the procedure. Although it does have its appeal I’m not interested in finding out what could go wrong. If you want the oricedure just make sure you are not the surgeon’s first handful of cases
