I am 38, have three children and will not be having more so am interested in options of what a breast lift could realistically do to improve the shape of my breasts. More similar shape they are while cupped vs exposed? At this time I do not think I would even consider implants, I am just a bit of a hypochondriac (tiny bit) and the idea of possibly having to explant them or replace, gives me anxiety. Thanks so much anyone who takes the time to even entertain my questions, I really appreciate it!
Answer: Breast Lift Thank you for your question & photos. From your photos you are a good candidate for a breast lift. This will address the asymmetry, reshape and raise your breast. If you are looking for upper pole fullness and are uncomfortable with the idea of an implant, fat transfer is a great alternative. There is no chance of rejection because you are using your own tissue. Your expectations and health will dictate the best procedure(s) for you. I suggest a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to go over the options that best address your goals. Best of luck! Answer: Could a breast lift alone help reshape my breasts? A breast lift alone could certainly improve the shape of your breasts . This could be enhanced with an internal mesh bra which dissolves over time

Answer: A lift would improve shape Hi londonlu, you are definitely a good candidate for a lift. In the photos, you have reasonable breast size for your frame, but the shape could be improved. Specifically, the bulk of your breasts sits below where the breast meets the chest wall behind, and her nipples in a lower position. A breast lift will reliably do 3 things. First, it will remove excess skin. Second, it will actively reshape the breast tissue to a vertically higher position on your frame. Finally, it would move the nipple from a downward facing to a forward facing position. This comes, of course, at the expense of scars. Trade off for improved breast shape the scars on her breast. Hope this helps. Best,Christopher Pannucci MDBoard Certified Plastic SurgeonPlastic Surgery NorthwestSpokane, Washington

Answer: Breast lift Thank you for your question. I do believe your a great candidate to have a breast lift done. It will help reduce the droop of the breast and yes help with some of the shape to the breast. It will not help with the upper pole firmness. The only way to help with the upper part of the breast would be with the use of an implant. It doesn't have to be a big implant at all. I would suggest speaking with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in person to discus your options and to help answer any of your questions. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Mastopexy would be a great option for you Based solely on your photos, it appears that you still have a good amount of breast tissue under the skin. A reshaping of the breast tissue as well as excess skin removal would help to replace your breasts back to a more youthful, more symmetric position on your chest. It is difficult to fully recommend which technique would be best unless doing a formal examination, however you seem to be a good candidate for this. Doing a mastopexy, AKA breast left, would not preclude you from having a breast implant placed at a future date if you were so inclined. The addition of fat grafting techniques to mastopexy in the recent years have also become a good option for patients looking to have additional breast volume without an implant. Breast lifts, fat grafting to the breast, and breast augmentation are procedures that we commonly do in our office. Please see the attached link for more information on this topic.
