Is this bruising around my incision site within normal expectations? (Photo)

Great question!  Brushing around the incision is common after breast augmentation, looking at your photos, it seems to be within the normal limits.  However, I would followup with your plastic surgeon and have him/her assess the situation.Best of luck and hope this information helps!

Hi ltravis88, Thank you for the photos and questions. It is normal to have bruising after a breast augmentation. I would recommend seeing your surgeon for an evaluation because photos are not always the best option for giving post-operative advice. Best of luck-

bruising after surgery can occur and if it is not extensive it is not something to be worried about. I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment. Only after thorough examination you can get proper recommendations and advice.

You are still early on healing process. Right now you might have one breast bigger than the other, feel swollen and also have bruises, it is normal and can happen for the first 3 to 4 months, until your implants have dropped and settle in. 
If the situation doesn't improve over time, i suggest you to follow up close with your plastic surgeon.

Bruising around the incision site is normal. I would reach out to your plastic surgeon with any concerns.

The concern about bruising is whether you have a hematoma.  The triad of symptoms to make the diagnosis are excess bruising, excess swelling, and pain.  Since you don't have excess pain or swelling I would say that you simply have a little bruising around the incision site which is fairly common.

Hello and thank you for your question and photo's.   For 4 days out it is normal to have bruising , one side can bruise more then the other.  Just keep up with your post op visits with your PS.
