Yes. It's early in recovery but what in the fresh heck is going on here? I see dimple. Is this an insufficiently made pocket for a 600cc implant? Is this pissed of pec muscles that will chill out once things drop more? It's a big implant. I was a 34b before and she said I had enough tissue to handle them. It's making some ugly midline stuff happen. They still need to drop more I assume. Thanks for your help and info. Let me know if this is a similar case you have seen before and how it resolved.
Answer: Armpit incision 2 weeks post-op dimples. 600cc silicone. Wicked weird dimpling/rippling. Will this resolve? You are very early in the healing process. Over time your implants will settle and swelling will subside as well as your breast shape will change. Continue to follow up with your surgeon as directed. From your photos everything seems to be looking great.

Answer: Thoughts on my early healing? Given how early you are out from your actual surgery, it is far too early to identify concerns regarding shape and implant position. At this point, I encourage you to follow closely the recommendations of your Plastic Surgeon and see how the shape evolves over time.I hope that helps and wish you the very best!Warmest regards,Gregory A Buford MD FACSBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author

Answer: BA results Dear Aloha44,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process at 2 weeks post op.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Wicked/Weird Dimple Thanks for your question! Based upon your photos and my experience of doing thousands of breast augmentation surgeries, I do have to agree with your statement that it’s still early, & to give it months to heal & “settle in”. I don’t think you have an insufficient pocket (& thanks for including your photos, it really helps us as plastic surgeons to answer your question!); conversely, I’d say that you were in danger of an over dissected pocket & symmastia (“uni-boob”)! I think in time that dimple will go away; you’ve gotta give it like ~6 months. If it hasn’t resolved by then, contact your plastic surgeon. It’s usually a straightforward revision, & maybe could be corrected by a small amount of fat grafting under local anesthesia in the office. I’m curious, let us k kw over time if this resolves (I’m betting that it will) on its own. Best of luck to you!
