Genioplasty, forehead reduction: Correct sequence?

You could have the genioplasty and forehead contouring done together for one recovery if that is something you want. Then the hairline transplant last. I would recommend the forehead contouring is done before the transplant. I do not recommend having a transplant, then a surgical procedure in the same area. This could damage the progress with the transplant. Plus the forehead will change shape after contouring, which may also change the positioning of the hairline transplant. If you are referring to hairline transposition, which means moving the hairline itself (forward or back) and not transplanting hair, then all 3 procedures could be done together. I suggest you talk to your providers regarding the recommended timing. Perhaps the approach to get access to your for head to work is better done through a hairline incision, which would help potentially advance your hairline.
I’d be careful doing the incision for the forehead work immediately before or after placing hair grafts. Hair restoration should only be done by those who have ample experience because if it’s done poorly patients get in that having problems down the road. Without seeing pictures, we can’t really begin to make an assessment. The genioplasty is fairly irrelevant to the rest of the work, but working with your scalp and having hair graft is going to require coordination.
More than anything I suggest getting a few different opinions about moving forward with your proposed procedures.
