Does a scar revision look worse before it looks better? Having a hard time imagining. (Photo)

I had an scar revision done two days ago on an old eyebrow piercing scar. It was done by the best plastic surgeon in my city. It looks like a hot mess right now and I'm having a hard time envisioning that it will look better. I do trust the dr. though. So many stitches for such a small little hole.
