Great question. It's not uncommon to have a hematoma following a prolapse repair. These usually absorb over time or self-evacuate without causing any problems. You should just follow up with your surgeon as planned or more frequently if you feel you're not improving.

In case of complications after vaginoplasty, if the stitches are damaged along with the hamatoma accumulated inside, it may be necessary to re-stitch. However, most of the time there is no problem with the stitches and the hematoma regresses on its own. and then there is a normal post-operative recovery process.
