The main concern with a hematoma would be infection and patients with hematomas need to be watched closely.

In case of complications after vaginoplasty, if the stitches are damaged along with the hamatoma accumulated inside, it may be necessary to re-stitch. However, most of the time there is no problem with the stitches and the hematoma regresses on its own. and then there is a normal post-operative recovery process.
