1 + year post op, nose still firm and new marks on nose bridge. Is this normal?

It is impossible to answer your questions without photos. Have you spoken with your original surgeon? I would hope that your doctor would be willing to meet with you to determine what is going on with your result. Some firmness is normal, particularly during the first few months, as the healing process is in its early stages. Most surgeons will tell you to wait 12 months for the nose to fully heal, but everyone heals differently, and you might be a slower healer. If your surgery were a secondary rhinoplasty, it could likely take even longer to heal. Only your surgeon knows exactly what was done during the operation, so he or she would be better able to explain the marks and firmness. I recommend you make an appointment to follow up with your surgeon. If the meeting is not fruitful, you should consider consulting in person with another board certified plastic surgeon who has decades of experience with revision rhinoplasty. It would be helpful to bring with you before and after photos and the operative report if possible.
