Will this Seroma absorb on its own or do I need to get it drained? (Photo)

Thank you for your question and photograph and I am sorry to hear of your hematoma and seroma issues.  Based on your picture it does appear that you have a seroma on your left side and I would advocate aspirating the fluid in the attempts of preventing it from worsening and allowing your body time to seal itself.  Voice your concerns to your plastic surgeon, they should help you.

Aspiration of the fluid with a needle is frequently helpful. Secondary surgery

Hi,Thanks for the post and photo. It does appear that there is a fluid collection on that side. I would recommend that you see your plastic surgeon who could drain it in the office. I also recommend not being too active with that side and wear some sort of compression garment to decrease the chance of the fluid coming back.Sincerely,Dr. Dadvand
